Got the fish fry and some lobster bisque. The lobster bisque tasted bitter (this is not the first time) so I stopped eating it now about 5 hours later I'm in the bathroom more then not and fighting the urge to puke. UPDATE...3:10AM and now blowing chunks.!!!!

My wife and I have been customers of Davies for many years. We ordered a fried scallop dinner Friday 9/1/23. My wife had 1 scallop and it was over fried had a bad taste and an orange color. I had the remaining scallops. I woke up in the middle of the night with severe vomiting and diarrhea This lasted almost 16 hours. Maybe 20 times each. Food poisoning? for many years. We o this past Friday September 1, 2023. My wife had 1 scallop and it tasted fishier than normal and the consistency appeared to be over fried and had an orange color rather then light brown. She did not have another.

Best fresh fish in town. No question about it. I also like how everything you would need to prepare and serve is available here. Definitely check them out.

Food was not as good as it was when I went last summer. Not as fresh. I went on a Friday at lunchtime. It should have been fresh and delicious. It was not good. The seafood salad had a very thick like mayonnaise in it. I didn't eat it.

What a fantastic fish fry and seafood market! Portions are large, so adjust expectations accordingly, two dinners can feed four people. Try the hush puppies!

Ordered for dinners to fish, fries and seafood platter mushrooms all were very overcooked except for one piece of fish very tough and dry. The mushrooms were a little tiny piece. You get out of a can breaded with a pound of crush. I saw it had good reviews but maybe that was years ago The crosstown message is not good at all nothing like what they used to have back 50 years ago cross is very hard not a nice battered fish at all
